How to add description to the inventory item

Hey team
We need to add description to our product, how can we do it ? we do not see any description attribute ?

We saw in this post that is no posible, it is still no posible ?

We currently don't have a description field for inventory items. Item names have a 127 character limit, so you can be as descriptive with the name as you need.
