How do we stop the manual pay app from opening when a customer inserts their credit card?

Our app is in customer mode and the customer is entering their information within the app. However if they insert their credit card then the payment app opens and they can enter an amount to pay. This is not what we want to happen. We want the customer to not be able to leave our app when they are in customer mode.
