Custom Tender with Google NFC Beam.

Is it possible to let the custom tender and use NFC if its in the right format?
I know with android phone you have access to the NFC chip to send information. I'm wondering if its possible to use the NFC reader on a clover device with custom tender if its in the right NFC format.
