Is it possible to build a custom Register app to replace the built in Register app?

Is it possible to build a Clover Android app that could be used in place of the built in Register app? The app would have similar functionality to the existing Register (displaying inventory, creating orders, accepting payments, printing receipts, etc.) in addition to other functionality which is directly tied to the service we are building. Looking at the SDK docs, I am unclear as to whether this is something that is even supported on the platform.

Yes, it's supported and encouraged. There are many untapped verticals that have specific needs that are not met by our Register app.

Thanks Jeffrey, is there a sample in the Clover Android SDK that shows how to do this? I took a look and couldn't see one that fit the bill.

There are lots of samples that demonstrate how to do many of the pieces. We also have this example POS app, but YMMV: https://github.com/clover/android-examples/tree/master/native-android-example-pos.
