WooCommerce integration with Clover Payment Gateway

Hi, I need to make an integration between WooCommerce based website and Clover Payment gateway (hosted iframe).

Do I also need to create and submit an App on Clover Platform for this purpose? Or development on the website side is needed only, following your E-commerce API documentation?

How is it possible to set up a test environment with Clover Payment Gateway in order to be able to test the integration with fake orders / payments?

Is this integration for a single merchant? You will need to create a sandbox account - https://docs.clover.com/docs/setup-clover-sandbox-account

Single Merchant means Single Business managed on Clover Platform?


If so, then yes - it's a custom integration on behalf of Clover Client between his E-commerce website and his Clover Account / Business. He has provided me with Clover API Keys but I believe those are used for production ready integration?

Right, you can create an account in Sandbox and from your test merchant create an API token.

One more question: do you also have a way to place test orders with a fake credit card or something similar? I have created Test Merchant Account and the API token.

You can create orders via API - https://docs.clover.com/docs/working-with-orders.

You can use the test cards listed here - https://docs.clover.com/docs/test-card-numbers.
