We have one two merchants e.g. MerchantA & MerchantB. We have one deviceA associated with MerchantA. We have one sandbox app created under MerchantA developer account. Now we re-associated DeviceA to MerchantB and want to install the app in that deviceA. How can we do that?
You can only install apps to merchants that are owned by your developer account.
As a follow-up, Just to confirm this requirement is only for sandbox, right? In the production environment, we can expect to be able to install the app from a single developer across any merchant who authorizes it. Please confirm
Yes, of course. In sandbox, because apps aren't pushed into the app market, you don't have visibility outside of your own account (you can't see apps that other developers are currently working on, which makes sense).
