Clover Mini - Error printing: Failure

After a few Updates running Saturday we were unable Sunday morning to print out receipts

Message: Error Printing: Failure

Two specialist were unable to fix this problem and told us we need a replacement for the Clover Mini !?!?!?

Could that be a software issue?

We can not believe that we have to pay for a replacement because there is an error printing message?

We have a business to run and we are unable to take card payments because we can not print out the receipts ...

Any solutions? without spending a lot of money again (it`s the second device in a few months)

Hi,

This community is for developer support. Have you tried contacting Clover support? If you haven't you should, but before you do immediately after reproducing the issue you should send us the device logs via the help app. Open the Help app on the device, go to the menu in the upper left and select "Diagnostics" then select the "Send Device Logs" button.

I send the device logs

It is unlikely I will be able to come to a different conclusion. You must reproduce the printing failure right before sending the logs. Did you do that? If so I don't see anything helpful in the logs.

After looking at the logs from your device I'd concur that it's a hardware problem. Device is reporting that the print head has failed. You'll need a replacement device.

Us folks that respond here are engineers so unfortunately we can't comment on the details of support agreements. You might have better luck taking that discussion to Customer Support.
