Clover exclusively uses First Data (now Fiserv) for payment processing: https://www.firstdata.com/en_us/insights/credit-card-processing.html

Some history: CardConnect and Clover were acquired by First Data and First Data was acquired by Fiserv.

Note there are many different resellers (aka ISOs) which sell Clover equipment, under the hood they all use First Data for payment processing but they may provide alternate support, billing and reporting. You likely cannot move an existing Clover device between resellers. CardConnect is one such reseller.

FirstData has partnerships with many banks (Wells Fargo, PNC, etc), some of which are joint ventures which resell Clover services backed by First Data payment processing.

it is impossible to use Clover hardware/software on any other payment processor such as Adyen, Chase paymentech, etc.
