The merchant can either close out the batch through the Clover device manually, or set the device to automatic batch closeout.
To close the batch manually through the Clover device, the merchant should:
NOTE: If there are any Open Tips, resolve them by tapping on View Open Tips.
To close the batch manually through the Clover device, the merchant should:
- Exit the Pay Display app by placing their fingers on all four corners of the Clover device’s screen
- Open the Closeout app
- Tap on The Current Batch
- Tap on Close Out All Devices
NOTE: If there are any Open Tips, resolve them by tapping on View Open Tips.
