Intermittent Error => "please provide a valid source"

We receive the error "please provide a valid source" intermittently. Any help would be appreciated.

are you using a card token source or a saved card on file?

I'm using the card token source. We are creating the customer with the card token source then deleting the card from the customer's profile in a subsequent API call. After creating an order I'm paying for the order using the card token source and also passing the customer id.

Is there a reason why you are removing the card afterward? You can token the card and add the customer and use the customer ID in the ecomm pay for order API to make things simpler or just token the card (one time use) and use that source and add the customer ID in the api call.
