Flex 3 not connecting to usb with Macbook Pro or Windows

The Flex 3 Dev Kit doesn't even show up as a device in either Windows or Mac.

Check if the Flex 3 needs to be powered separately or if it's getting enough power from the USB port https://denimstears.com/.

Verify that the Flex 3 is compatible with both macOS and Windows https://stussycart.co/. Some devices require additional software or configuration.
