Groups of inventory items

We are a meadery. We have 375ml bottle and 50ml tubes and 21 different flavors. The tubes are offered in flights of four, thats four differnet flavors, as well as just a single tube. The same is true for our bottles but they are sold as singles, 3 packs and 6 packs. Inventory is tracked by number of tubes and bottles made and sold. How do i create a sales item that has 4 tubes or 6 bottles(6 pack) or 3 bottles (3 pack) and still use the inventort tracking for each bottlle item or tube item.

Right now we just make 4 different entries for a flight and then input a "flight" discount. The true is the same for the bottles. There must be a way to have flight groups that have 4 different tube items that can be input with one stroke?

Clover sees 1 single bottle, a 3pk, and a 6pk, as 3 separate items. You can use Modifier Groups with different prices using the same SKU for the item and calculate the amount of bottles on the back end, or create 3 separate items with different SKU for each product offering.

OR

use one item and input a quantity.

I am not sure what you mean "calculate it on the back end"? We enter the number of bottles and tube we have inventory, we have 21 different flavors. When some one buys a six pack of bottles, we have to select each bottle by flavor one at a time. We also have prepackaged flavor groups with there own names, but clover does not recognize that there are 4 tubes or 3 bottles or six bottles it only sees this as a flavor group. We do not have flavor groups in the inventory. Just single items.

To clarify, let's say you have for example (1) 16oz Soda and (1) 6pk 16oz Soda. Clover sees each item as one item. If you sell the 6pk, inventory tracking will deduct it from inventory as 1 item since that item has it's own sku, you will have to take that and manually deduct 6 from physical inventory.

The inventory tracking tracks individual items sold and not pieces within the product offering.
