I was working a lot in direct card payment industry and certified many solutions. All payment processors provide a document with a set of requirements for printing receipts and then they verify it at the time certification process.
I understand that in solution like Clover the requirements could be different because Clover keeps many payment details in its own PCI DSS storages. But do you have any receipt requirement we can use to make sure our custom receipt is compatible with yours?
For example, all major payment processor require to print EVM tags on receipts (Like TSI, Cryptogram, ARC, etc). Your default receipt prints AID tag only. Is it enough for you? The same is Merchant ID and Terminal ID printing. Your default receipt contains masked MID but there is no any Terminal ID on the receipt.
Also all payment gateways require to print account balances if they present in the responses.
Unfortunately we cannot use your default receipt because we have to print information from our backend but we would like to be sure our receipts will pass your verification process.
