Auths still showing on Clover Flex device after settle

On the Clover Flex device, the Auth still shows even though we have captured funds, batch has settled every night, money has left customers card, money has made it into our bank account, 1 week later, auth still shows.

What we are doing:
1: we are rental car company
2: Taking an Auth in the field at a hotel delivery on the Clover Flex device
3: end of rental, our POS system is capturing the auth via an API call
4: all works great
5: Auth still showing on device, not good, needs to not be there as its closed and settled.

please advise
