Clover Register - Total number of Items added to the order

Hello,

Is there any way or setting in the Clover Station Duo to display the total number of items scanned/added into the order before making the payment?

Example:

A customer comes with the big order like 50 items in the cart.

Employee keeps scanning all the items into the register and now in the end wants to verify total number of items. We could not find any settings which enables and shows total number of items sold or added to this order for verification.

Please see this attached sample receipt which shows total number of items.


Can you please advise on how to enable this in Clover Station Duo?

No, I don't believe so, you would have to generate a custom receipt.

okay, how can we generate the custom receipt?

Well, that may be a complicated answer. How are you integrating with us? Do you have a native app (running on a Clover device?). If not, then you could use our Clover Connector which has a print image API (you will need to generate the receipt and print it over the Connector).

We actually have a native app running on a Clover device. So any way we can modify the receipt and also would like to know if we can add/apply the discounts on the order screen by getting the items added notifications and applying the discount on it?

what is the different ways we can add discounts on the fly when Employee is adding items to the order?
