Background process when Clover station is on Sleep

I have a process that polls my server every 15 mins. This process is working fine on a Clover mobile when it is on sleep, but does not work on a clover station. On checking the logs, it does not seem to run when the Clover station is on sleep. By sleep, I mean when the terminal is sitting idle with its screen off. Is there any solution for this ? Is this OS specific ? or am I missing something ?

Really hard to say without seeing your code for how you are triggering and running the service.

Are you running it as a service or in the app?

Your app might be going to the paused stated by the android OS.

It is going to a paused state in a Clover mobile but not on a Clover station. That is what is weird. Anyway I solved my issue with a workaround
