Can smart receipt be disabled by the merchant

Hello,


Our app uses smart receipt. however some merchants would like to disable that functionality. is there any way to turn off the smart receipt text from being printed on the receipt on a per merchant or device basis?

I do not believe smart receipts can be disabled at the merchant or device level.
