pathway to semiintegrate to custom pos

Hi, I have difficulties to understand how we can provide clover semi integration with our solution. One of our customer asked me to integrate clover to our solution and while it is supposed to be quick and easy, theres imo way to much noise in the doc to understand clearly what i have to do.

I can do it with remote-pay example and codelabtutorial with provided ids and token. but as soon as i go further to go through your app thing and Oauth flow, im lost.

I tried to create an app on the developper dashboard, webbased. I used rest config to set url and cors. but my test is on local host and the token received trigger cors error.

I mean, i just want to send sale request from my app to clover device through cloud.

what is the most simple way to achieve that, including all configuration on your dashboard.

Do i really need to create an app on the marketplace and does each of my customers(merchant) have to link to me and if so, how?

we have a POS in our webapp but our app is deployed localy on each of our customers servers.

Does each of our customers have to create an app and developper account or i dont know.

How can i do the most simple integration to perform only sale request on our customers clover device, knowing that each customers have its own instance of our solution webapp on their own servers.

Yes, a Clover app is required, to start the process fill out our intake form - https://docs.clover.com/docs/application.

No, but you do. The merchant will either install your app from the Clover App Market (once approved), or we will push the app to your merchant (if the app is private). Either way the integration will need to be approved by us, here are some links on the approval process and what your app will be tested on:

HI David,

Can you please share a link on details of what you mean by "Push the app to your merchant (if the app is private)". I am not sure what that means. In our scenario, the client will have already created an account with us to set up their profile on the web. There is no "app" as it is a web based Saas product.

All integrations require a Clover app. In your case, if you have an API only integration you will create a Clover web application - https://docs.clover.com/docs/clover-development-basics-web-app.

Once your app is approved you will send us a request to "install" it to your merchants. For approval please see these links and all subsections - https://docs.clover.com/docs/clover-app-approval-process and https://docs.clover.com/docs/clover-functional-review-playbook.

Thank you. I have submitted the form. I have an account on https://www.clover.com/developer-home but I am not the boss. Should I ask him to create one himeself or does a developper account can change owner in the future? Also we do buisiness as incorporated company. Do I still have to submit a passport or business papers are ok? And we are a canadian(quebec) company, so we don't have US busines EIN, but the field is required to submit account details as a business.
