Developing a clover app and use a third party gift card API

Hi, We are looking to develop a Clover application in which we want to integrate our Gift card program. We are mainly looking to integrate below features of our gift card program.

• Activate/add value to a gift card – Using this we are looking to activate/add value to gift card - for this we will call our android library to perform that transaction at our end to add value at gift card and library will return success and failure response for this and value will be added based on that. • Redeem a gift card – Using this user can redeem our gift card to make some purchase using clover application – So for Redeem gift card we will call our android library to perform redeem transaction and that will return success and failure response and based on response gift card could be redeemed for the purchase.

So, I just want to confirm that can we perform these Activate and Redeem (to make some purchase in clover) in clover app using our own library.

Hi Pankaj,

Check out the Custom Tenders section of our docs for a high level overview of what this implementation would look like. There are a few gift card apps launched on the App Market currently, as well. They implement what you're looking to accomplish.

Our Android SDK will be relevant for development.

Best,

Mark
