Do we need to approve the application?

We created the application in a sandbox environment, set up and tested the integration. Could you advice please if we need to approve our application on a production environment in order to get data from third parties?

Yes, approval is required in production, you can find more information here - https://docs.clover.com/docs/developer-app-approval.
