Pin number for employees: How can we use unique pins for over 999999 employees and lock them out

We need to ensure that when logging in and a mistake is made with the wrong pin that it does not allow log on a certain device.

Lets explain this further, I log on with my pin 4 or 6 digits and it logs on when I put it correctly, but when I mistakenly put the wrong pin it wont log on to that device.

We need to associate the device to certain pins only and manage that on all devices to be able to go on certain pins.

Login PINs are not device specific. Our firmware controls the logic process. It's not something we open up to 3rd parties for modification.
