How can I ping a specific device from my rest api?

I am working in an app for clover min, I have a rest api and I am calling a web service ping x time to say hey I am alive, now it becomes a problem because my database gets lots of updates, is there any way to ping a device from my rest api (is the oposite I am doing now)

No, if you want to interact with a device you need to use our Remote Pay SDKS, https://docs.clover.com/clover-platform/docs/clover-development-basics-semi.
