Can I use previously created order to make payment through clover Go

Hi there, I am using clover Go with android tablet for payment. As per my research I got to know that I can process payment(sale) through external payment id in sale request. My requirement is to pay and order which was previously created and is still open with some amount. Can I process the payment for already created order on clover station and use that order id for payment (Sale).
