No Cash Events on Test Account in Production EU / US

This works on sandbox; 
https://apisandbox.dev.clover.com/v3/merchants/xxx...
But returns nothing on our test accounts in production; 
https://api.clover.com/v3/merchants/xxx/cash_event...
We have processed cash transactions so think they should be showing.
Do cash events not work on test accounts in production? Is there a configuration option to enable them?

As near as I can tell, cash events should be generated for any merchant with the com.clover.cashmanagement (Cash Log) app installed. There is a merchant setting for it, but I only see it turned off for a handful of 2013-2014 merchants (at least in prod us).
