We have an Online Ordering App with Clover and also integrate with the Clover Developer Pay API. This is with regards to an issue experienced with the Clover Developer Pay API.
We followed the instructions on the Clover website exactly as described and the integration works, but one of the clients have recently received a chargeback due to a failed address match. There is no documentation for "street address" or "city" on the API documentation page at
https://docs.clover.com/build/developer-pay-api/.
We have also been unable to find any other documentation at all, so I must ask: how do we include the street address / city for a transaction request? If there are any further links or documentation for the Clover Developer Pay API would be also be appreciated.
I would also like to ask; why are these transactions being approved without said address? We do send the customer ZIP code in the request as described in the documentation; but that is seemingly not enough. Clearly no restaurant is in the business of providing free food via fraudulent use of credit cards, so how can this be addressed?
