should I buy a dev kit for sandbox

Hello,
I am very new to clover. And I am trying to implement Clover connector with the semi-integration option. I want to use the cloud version to send and receive a request to Clover Developer Kit (DevKit).
I wanted to know if Clover has test suites online or not which makes it unnecessary to buy a dev kit.

Welcome to Clover Developer Community!

Interfacing with a physical DevKit is the only way to get the full experience of testing a semi-integrated application, as the Clover payment application has a required hardware dependency.

If you would like to get a sense of what an implementation of the CloverConnecter through cloud might look like, we have a few example applications that utilize the remote-pay-cloud sdk provided at:
