What is the maximum number of inventory items?

We are in the final stages of releasing a Fashion Industry Inventory Management suite. Our main test client, has 11 years of historical data on their existing system. Each season (twice a year) their stock can change considerably. Looking at their data it appears they have something approaching 14,000 separate inventory items.

I read this on one of your FAQ pages "We will now support import, export and usage of 15,000 inventory items"

This seems like our client is dangerously close to your limit. And our test client may not be at the top end of Fashion stores in terms of stock variety, as they are Menswear, and we expect Women's clothing stores to have a great turnover of items.

Can you confirm the upper limit please and what might be our approach if this limit is exceeded?

Thanks Robin

Please refer to this previous question: https://devask.clover.com/question/41...

We do not have a strict upper limit. However, 15,000 is our suggested upper limit - with more you are risking slower performance.

Also note, if you wanted to import 20,000 inventory items, it would be possible; you would just need to break it up into two separate imports.
