Used an iframe api key and getting this error on checkout

Here's the error code on the checkout page: 'There are no payment methods available. This may be an error on our side. Please contact us if you need any help placing your order. '

Clover plugin and merchant. I've tried both types of keys: API and Hosted iFrame/API Keys

Is the merchant account active?

can you send a console network log of the error status code of that page and please send a private message of the merchant ID number.
