For a new Android app, should I be using the classes in the v1 or v3 package?

I'm guessing v3 is the latest code, but the sample apps seem to be using v1 so I'm not sure if v3 is stable enough?

I use v3, it's good alright.

I recommend them, hence Mobile/Mini I believe use v3

The v3 Android API and REST API are the newest APIs designed to be more consistent and cleaner and should be just as stable as v1. The v3 Android API works on all Clover devices: Station, Mini and Mobile. There may be some things that you still need to use the v1 Android API for and that's fine. Same thing for goes for the v2 REST API, it may provide slightly more functionality at this time.
