Clover batch report doesn't include the sales from orders created by rest API

Hi,

Our merchant found that their Clover Batch Report excludes sales from orders created by rest API. However, the Clover Sales Report does have them. Is it an expected behavior or something related to the Clover POS configuration?

did you verify if any sales after 11:01pm, if there were then they will not be apart of the batch total. The reporting time is different from batch

Hello,

the Clover Batch Report only includes sales from orders that are paid with a card or cash, and not from orders that are created by the rest API. This is because the rest API orders are not associated with a specific payment device or batch. The Clover Sales Report includes all sales, regardless of the payment method or source. This is an expected behavior and not related to the Clover POS configuration.

If you want to include the rest API orders in the Clover Batch Report, you need to use the Pay API to create payments for those orders and associate them with a payment device. Alternatively, you can use the E-Commerce API to create orders and payments mcdvoice that are automatically included in the Clover Batch Report.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me.

Best Regard,
Patrick66212
