Test card issue -- incorrect response

Hi,

I am receiving a failed response for a test card that is suppose to simulate a successful transaction.

According to https://docs.clover.com/docs/test-card-numbers#test-for-all-cards the following cards should have a "successful" transaction response.


American Express 3782 822463 10005
American Express 3714 496353 98431

however when I receive the response from the clover endpoint, it returns the following "card declined" response:


Client error: `POST https://scl-sandbox.dev.clover.com/v1/charges` resulted in a `402 Payment Required` response: {"message":"402 Payment Required","error":{"code":"card_declined","message":"CVV could not be verified","charge":"H2HYYW (truncated...)


any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

What CVV are you putting in and can you check your test merchant fraud tools and make some edits to allow transactions to process with incorrect cvv

I'm using 123 as the CVV, pls. note that this cvv works for the rest of the test cards.

AMEX has 4 digits for the CVV

I have already used 1234 as the cvv for the AMEX test cards, but it still returns a failed result. (see below response)

Also I noticed that the transaction I made with the 2 amex test cards always generates a "Transaction - Voids" entry on the test merchant account dashboard > Transactions > Void, even though it returns a failed response. (pls see below image)
