Testing Barcode Scanner on Emulator

Hi, I'm trying to find out if it's possible to test out the Clover camera barcode scanner by connecting the Android Studio emulator to my laptop webcam? I am able to test other Android devices camera functionality this way but have been unsuccessful with Clover.

You need a devkit to test Clover camera

Thanks for clearing that up for me! I thought that was the case, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
