How to add a Payment to a Clover order via REST Pay Display API

Hi, I need to know if we can add a Payment made via REST Pay Display API can be added to an existing Clover Order?

Example: We place an order on Clover via REST APIs and the init payment for the total via REST Pay Display API. Can we attach this payment to the order?

No, that is not possible. Our Pay Display apps assume an external POS is being used that has it's own concept of ordering, and therefore creates a Clover order behind the scenes.
