Help with Hosted Payment Page

We did a POC following the instructions at https://docs.clover.com/docs/hosted-checkout-api

Once the control comes back to our URL, we do not see any response that is being sent.

How do we know if the payment is successful or not and what are the authorization details (last 4 digits of the cards, authorization code etc).

Also, how do we get a 'token' back which can be used to do refunds.

Appreciate any guidance on this.

You need to set-up a webhook. Refunds must be done via the EComm API.

Thank you, David.

Ours is a web portal and I was expecting that configuring the redirect URL is enough. We expected that when the control comes back, it comes back with some response as well. Didn't see the need of a webhook here.

I am not sure where you are expecting the details to reside. We just redirect where you tell us, if you need the details you need the webhook.
