The accepted answer says to publish/upload a new app, and then "migrate your merchants." What is the most efficient way to do this migrating of merchants from the old app to the new app?
I believe "migrating" your merchants means to instruct your merchants to install the new app. There is no automated process for this.
Installing the new app would mean subscribing to its monthly billing, while somehow terminating the subscription to the old app. Sounds like a huge burden on the merchant. If we lose merchants through this it makes me want to sue the development group who did not provide the original certificate password!
