Can Clover support ISO/IEC 14443 Type A 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards such as MiFARE DESFire and ICLASS SEOS?

We serve the higher ed campus card market where contactless cards such as MiFARE DESFire and ICLASS SEOS are gaining in popularity. These cards are based on the ISO/IEC 14443 Type A 13.56 MHz contactless smart card standard.

The way other POS systems we work with accept these cards is typically via a USB reader which mimics a mag stripe card swipe.

Hi,

Once you have a specific USB device in mind, send us an email at dev@clover.com. We can see if it has already been whitelisted, and it not, provide you instructions of what we'll need for that process.

Thanks,

Mark
