private vs. public app approval speed

Hi - We are a new company and have one potential Clover customer who wants to use our tool.


We will use smart receipts as part of this tool.


I understand that the approval process averages 11 days as of January 2021.


I'm wondering if there is a faster approval process if we start with a private app vs. public app?

11 days is for the approval of the developer account, not the app. App approval takes longer, I believe the number we generally provide is 6-8 weeks, but that estimate can expand beyond 8 weeks in certain cases. Whether or not private apps can be approved more quickly is a question you should ask appmarketbusiness@clover.com.
