Hi,
Does the Mini always need to be connected to the internet when being used customer facing, or can it take it's networking (for payments etc.) over usb connection if the POS/Station is connected to the internet.

The credit card payment on the Mini is a wholly separate process from any other POS, per PCI requirements, so it will require its own internet connection.
