Add Account Time "Unfortunately, Clover has stopped"

Hi all,

I am new to Clover and found it really interesting. Right now I am setting up the genymotion virtual machine for the test. I used 4.4.4 API 19 and configured everything as it should be the Account is Add then Redirect this link https://www.clover.com/developers/dev... but not login time keep seeing "Clover has stopped". I haven't seen any related posts, can anyone help me?

Thank you so much!

I am experiencing a similar problem with the Android 4.2.2 Simulator for some it works on 4.4.4 but I want to be able to test with the Older SDK. Any help with why this issue is happening would be very grateful ?

Also, just to verify, what version of engine did you install? v1804?

Please try following the instructions to target your emulator/device to the applicable environment. There seems to be a bug where the correct environment was not set up during compilation.

The crash is due to the latest engine which is buggy. Go to Settings -> Apps and uninstall v1804. After that install the engine from: http://devask.clover.com/question/236... which is shared by mike.

Hi,

if you are setting up a sandbox environment in the emulator:

1) Be sure to download apks from https://sandbox.dev.clover.com/develo... .

2) Install 'engine' and 'appupdater'. You can side load them from the PC if you want.

3) Download and run 'targetnewenvironment' script, choose sandbox.

4) Create Clover account in the emulator.

5) Restart the emulator. In the logcat you should the see a lot of messages similar to 'AppUpdater: updated download (50) com.clover.transactions, status: DOWNLOADING'.

6) Wait. Those messages will progressively change to VERIFIED.

7) The app updater will present you a list of apps to update(install), for each app you will accept the app permissions.

8) Possibly 2 apps will not be installable with 'Verify failed' status, that is OK (for me), just close the app updater.

9) Press 'Home' button now. The system will ask you which app you want to use as home launcher, choose Clover.

10) You are now ready. You can now for example run the Inventory app in the WEB merchant dashboard to import the example inventory example_inventory.xlsx.

Note: Maybe the emulator will crash (maybe more than once) during installation in step 7), ... after the emulator restart just continue with step 6) .. the updater will continue its work.
