Adding Filters and Expandable Items When Pulling Customer Data?

Seeing if doing something wrong here.. Can't seem to get the filters working when pulling a customer, only the expandable items

"firstName" is not a valid filter. You need to set a value for the filter - "firstName=someFirstNameHere".
