Can we integrate payment connector in any tablet for application rather than any clover device ?

I have a tablet. i am willing to integrate first data in it for payment processing.How could i do it? I know little bit about payment connector for payment.So I would like to ask can i use payment connector for payment in my application and how could i implement it.Or is there any other way that i can use to achieve this ?

With the Payment Connector, you can use the Clover Android APIs to process payments and related actions via clover device.
