Increase Line Item note character limit

Hi,

I'm aware that the note field of line item's API has a character limitation of up to 255 characters. Due to this I'm stuck at a functionality where every detail is being entered and I cannot add more data. My each and every line item will have a minimum of 350 characters which will be entered in line item note. Can you please help me in finishing this functionality ASAP?

Can you please provide an example of a line-item note which exceeds 255 characters?

I am having a hard time imagining a case where you would need such a long note for a line item. My suspicion is that there may be a better place to put this information other than the note field of a lineItem.

Currently the issue I have is that we have a list of mods attached and we have hit the character limit.
