Privacy statement and EULA in Clover Android app?

How should one link privacy statement and EULA in the Clover Android App? Usually best practice for such information is to put a web link and show the information on the Web, but since Clover devices don't have a web browser, I wonder if the texts need to be included in the app directly or if it is sufficient to provide a link that a merchant would have to type into the browser of another device?

It depends on what you're looking to do. If you're asking about where Clover expects your EULA and privacy policy to be, you can add the links on your developer dashboard in the App Details page. When reviewing, we look at the EULA posted in your app details and the privacy policy linked to from your website's homepage.

If you're hoping to include the EULA and privacy policy in the Android app for the merchant's benefit, you can follow Jeff's suggestion.

I don't think we have any guidelines on that. Here are some ideas:

1. Use a WebView
2. Embed the plain text EULA in the app's assets and render in a normal Android view
3. As you suggested provide a shortened URL that merchant can easily type into a PC browser
