Is there a way to remove the CUSTOM ITEM button in the register?

I have a merchant that is using the Clover Station (legacy station) in a bar enviroment. His staff keeps using the CUSTOM ITEM button in each category and it is messing up his reporting. Is there a way to remove this option so his bartenders cannot use the CUSTOM ITEM button?
