Can a third-party app facilitate linking google wallet/apple pay integration directly with a Clover POS?
We are creating a third-party smartphone app that lets people pay for dine-in orders at restaurants using their mobile wallet accounts. We would like the orders to fund the restaurant's Clover Merchant account. We are hoping to have this app facilitate payments between the user's wallet and the restaurant's POS system (hoping the app can merely facilitate the payment) without any payment info being passed to our app. Is the developer pay API all we need? Are there examples we could look at?
I don't think we have any examples on this topic. The Developer Pay API requires the PAN as input, and I'd be surprised is you'd be able to get that from a card stored w/ Google Pay.
