My company wants to use a digital wallet solution for our rewards program. We need to make sure Clover has the technical capability to pull-off the following scenario:
- Customer purchases a Rewards Card for $5 from guest services at our mall. At the time of purchase, can Clover’s backend system generate a unique ID, append it to a URL (e.g., http://www.mall.com/digitalwallletpro...?receiptID=1234), and include this on a digital receipt that is emailed to the customer?
- At this point, the Customer receives an email, clicks on the URL, is taken to a page that lives on our website sites that has 2 buttons – one for Apple Wallet, one for Android Pay. Customer clicks on button, and pass is added to wallet and is valid for 1 year.
That URL would be what digital Wallet solution would need to generate the unique pass. To make this happen, Clover will need to return a unique transaction value. Can we do this with Clover? If not, can the dev team customize something? Please advise!
