It is probably not possible. In our secure payment app when a transaction fails we normally give the customer an opportunity continue trying again until the payment succeeds or they press the cancel button. There are many possible causes of failure such bad swipe or card read error and they are handled internally by our app. There is no easy for another app to override this.
