Often when I am developing anything around customer-facing tenders which live on the contactless payment screen, I need a real device in front of me which might not be available.
In the emulated Sale app, pressing "Charge" closes the app. In the Register app, there is no option to simulate a swipe or tethered Mini.
It would be great if in both of these cases we could see an approximation of what the user will see, with the ability to fake a contactless payment, and most importantly access to the customer tenders. One option would be for me to write better code where that launch route is very easy to mock, but even if I wrote such sweet sweet code, I think it would be hard to test it end-to-end because there are so many inputs the Register could send in an Order. What do you think?
