Merchants cannot download app for Flex3

A merchant that we are trying to assist cannot update our app to the latest version.

We get them to go to "Setup" and refresh to find updates, they swipe from the top and proceed with the install but it fails each time.

I put the update in a Release group and added that merchant to the group.

Check the compatibility: Ensure that the latest version of your app is compatible with the merchant's device and operating system. If the merchant's device or operating system is not compatible with the latest version of your app, the installation may fail.

Check the network connection: Ensure that the merchant has a stable internet connection and that there are no issues with the network. Poor network connectivity can cause the installation to fail.


Clear cache and data: Ask the merchant to clear the cache and data for your app on their device. This can help resolve any issues with the app's installation process.


Reinstall the app: Ask the merchant to uninstall the current version of your app and reinstall it from scratch. This can help resolve any issues with the app's installation process.


Check app permissions: Ensure that the app has the necessary permissions to install and run on the merchant's device. If the app does not have the necessary permissions, the installation may fail.


If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may need to further investigate the issue or reach out to the merchant for more information on the specific error message they are seeing during the installation process.

If the merchant is still unable to update the app to the latest version through the usual method, you could try sending them a direct link to download the updated app or providing them with a different method of updating the app, such as via email or a download link from your website. You could also reach out to your app development team to investigate any potential technical issues that may be preventing the merchant from updating the app successfully.
